TBS Marine is a young and dynamic company founded in 2011, built on the extensive experience of its founder, Luca Signorini, in the nautical sector. A former yacht agent, owner’s representative, and Caterpillar service manager, he established the company with a strong foundation of technical and operational expertise.
The company initially focused on representing and acting as an agent for several international brands, primarily within the Italian leisure boating, marina, and commercial marine markets. It soon expanded its presence along the southern Mediterranean coasts, supported by a network of trusted partners and strong relationships with key decision-makers across major refit and production facilities.
The company underwent a restructuring in 2017 when Federico Calistri, partner and CEO of Calistri Giacinto & C. snc — a leading company in the design and production of watertight and fire-rated doors and hatches, cranes, launching and towing systems, and other fully customized equipment — decided to join the company. This move enabled TBS to further expand its presence in the Italian market and recognized Luca’s role in the remarkable revenue growth achieved with Calistri, one of the brands he represents worldwide.

TBS is also proud to represent VEEM MARINE, the recently rebranded division for VEEM products, including the world-renowned VEEM propellers and the innovative VEEMGyro, which has redefined the concept of gyroscopic stabilization in the marine industry.
Since 2017, in his direct role as Business Development Manager for the Southern European market, Luca Signorini actively scouts, coordinates, and proactively generates new leads and sales for the Australian company, ranking among its top three best sellers in the leisure market segment.

TBS Srl is a limited liability company with solid financial standing and no financial commitments with banks or investment funds. The majority of shares are held by the founder, who also serves as CEO.

In 2021, the company recorded an outstanding sales increase of over 35% across all segments: Propulsion, Gyroscopes, and Doors.
